Education and technology have been reluctant collaborators for many years. With the introduction of mobile technology and the creation of the digital native, the gap between the traditional methods of teaching and what our students need has widened.
Students are showing up in schools knowing how to navigate their teachers tech tools better than the teacher themselves. Our charge is not what can we do with the newest tech gadget but how can we make this new technology applicable to the students needs for future success. Technology is a tool not a solution.
We are still required to meet standards and help develop global citizens in our every changing world. I hope to provide practical uses for these wonderful tools that can help us reach all students and make them into the stars of their dreams.
