Social, cultural, ethical, and legal issues in education with emphasis on diverse student populations, families, and communities. Sample course topics include: (1) instructional and assessment issues which meets the linguistic, cultural and educational needs of diverse students populations; (2) theoretical, historical, and legal precedents of education diverse student populations; and (3) instructional resources that are appropriate for diverse student populations.
